Having a nice web page in the eyes, not necessarily lead to good results in search engines. The third part of this tutorial explains how to optimize web pages with HTML tags specially, and the things that affect any rankings in the Search Engine.
Each search engine has its own way and each algorithm to determine the ranking of a website. But a few points below are common benchmark used by most search engines, and make sure you use it for your website.
Keyword in domain name, if you have a website that contains a collection of songs mp3 for example, it would be better if you use a domain www.mp3.com. This is the old-fashioned way, but until now still used by search engines. Keyword on the file name, for example you have a web page that contains information about the hotel in Bali, should be stored with a bali-hotels.html, this will also affect the ranking. Keyword in page title, tags <title> on an HTML page is very important to be optimized. Try to use titles that contain keywords relevant to the content of web pages.
Keywords in headlines, for you who have mastered the HTML tags would know <H1>, <H2>, and so on. Very good headline tag used for the title of a paragraph, for example: <H1> Hotels in Bali </ H1>. Headline was calculated by the Search Engine.
Use relevant keywords in meta tags, do not use keywords that had nothing to do with the content of your web page. This can be detected by search engines and will be considered spamming. Keywords in page content, keywords that are expected to be found on the web page content. Also use phrases or other words related to the main keyword.
Meta tags are HTML tags that are used specifically to describe the whole of your web content. Meta tags will be discussed specifically in the next section.
Link Popularity is the number of other web pages link to your website. Several highly major search engines pay attention to this. The bigger the link popularity of a web site, the higher rangkingnya.
